Global Reporting Specialist

Waldom Electronics has an exciting career opportunity for Global Reporting Specialist for our office in Amsterdam at Herengracht 475. In this role you will be responsible for the development and maintenance of reporting, business intelligence and analysis tools to support the business activities and decision-making process for Waldom and our partners globally. You will work closely together with the various business teams to translate their needs into actionable reporting projects. You will own the related data processes and data points, and you will discuss and troubleshoot to maintain consistency and continuity. The work will consist of validating, organizing and analyzing large amounts of varied source data into the target business intelligence tools. You will work within the global BI team based in Amsterdam and this position may include some travel to the US or Singapore.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Regularly prepare, communicate and improve reports related to Supplier, Sales, Operational or Management initiatives.

  • Maintain and work on development projects for a business intelligence infrastructure in Power BI.

  • Continuously align the related dashboards with the business focus, message and processes.

  • Gather requirements and train the Waldom internal and external stakeholders to reach optimal insights and productivity.

Required Knowledge and skills:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Economics, Supply Chain, Information Systems, or a related quantitative degree field

  • At least 1 year of experience in the field of data analytics / reporting

  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel; experience with Power Query/Pivot, DAX and VBA is preferred

  • Experience with Power BI or other data visualization tools

  • Ability to create relational data models; experience with relational databases is preferred

  • Proven conceptual, problem solving and analytical skills

  • Ability to present information and ideas in a clear, well organized and concise manner

  • Team-oriented working style with effective interpersonal skills
